Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Bookibles is an online booking platform that gives service businesses a public profile page where customers can discover services and book appointments. We provide the software; individual businesses are solely responsible for the services they offer and the appointments they fulfill.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create a business account.

3. Business responsibilities

If you operate a business on Bookibles, you are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, prices, availability, and business hours, and for honoring bookings that you confirm. You must comply with all laws and regulations that apply to your services, including licensing, tax, and consumer-protection requirements.

4. Customer bookings

Booking a service creates a request that the business may confirm, decline, or cancel. Bookibles is not a party to the agreement between a customer and a business, and we do not guarantee that any booking will be fulfilled. Any disputes about a service are between the customer and the business.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Post content that is misleading, infringing, or offensive.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Scrape, resell, or misuse data obtained through the Service.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Fees are described on our pricing page. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. If a payment fails, we may downgrade your plan after a short grace period. Booking is always free for customers.

7. Reviews and public content

A customer may be eligible to publish a rating and optional comment after a completed booking. Reviews must reflect the author's genuine experience and must not be fabricated, purchased, impersonated, defamatory, unlawful, or used to expose personal information. Businesses may not submit reviews for themselves, pressure customers to provide a particular rating, or edit a customer's words.

We may investigate, hide, or remove reviews and other content that violates these Terms or creates fraud, privacy, legal, or safety risk. Moderation does not make us the author of a review, and publication does not mean that Bookibles endorses the reviewer, business, or service.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload, and grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk or legal exposure for us or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of any business or customer using the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
